Methodology

Respicio Alpha is a curated market map of companies associated with forward-looking technologies and industries. The universe is editorial, not a complete market index, investment portfolio, or recommendation.

200-day simple moving average

For each ticker with enough history, the app averages its 200 most recent valid end-of-day closing prices. Distance is calculated as the latest close divided by that average, minus one, expressed as a percentage. Ready tickers are ranked from the most below to the most above their average.

Board groups

Deep below means 30% or more below the average. Below is between 30% and 8% below. Near average is within 8% in either direction. Above is more than 8% and up to 35% above. Extended is more than 35% above. Tickers with delayed, incomplete, or unavailable history appear as not ranked.

Dates and revisions

The current board uses the latest completed market session available to the app. The history control retains up to 301 sessions and rebuilds the same ranking for the chosen date. Market data can be delayed, corrected, adjusted, or temporarily unavailable, so values may change after a refresh.

Using the chart

Open a ticker to inspect its closing-price history and 200-day average. On touch screens, tap a point to inspect its values. Line measurements are available on devices with a mouse or trackpad. Personal Heart, Bookmark, and Thumbs Down selections are organizational tools only.
